Michèle Buhofer

Statement

The view of untouched landscapes and the meditative observation of nature have always touched Michèle Buhofer. Her love of animals has also accompanied and shaped her throughout her life. Many years of experience in the fashion industry have trained her eye for aesthetics, textures and successful staging. Her later training as a photographer was a matter close to her heart and helped her to become more professional. Numerous trips to southern Africa, northern Europe and Japan for wildlife and landscape photography have opened up an awareness of the beauty of this planet in the style of David Attenborough “It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.”
