Wolfram Schulz

Statement
Art is a matter of relationships! It either resonates or it doesn’t.
An essential theme of Wolfram Schulz’s works is the center and its surroundings; the inner center in relation to the outside world.
He uses self-developed materials and tools as well as play, wonder, research and discovery.
The goldsmith has been reactivated since he moved away from flat images and towards reliefs over 15 years ago. This development is further intensified with objects/sculptures.

Bio
Wolfram Schulz – Artist between light and shadow
Wolfram Schulz has been a freelance artist since the age of 30. His abstract, atmospheric works move in the field of tension between light and shadow – a play of opposites that opens up spaces between heaven and earth.
Colors and shapes serve him as an expression of inner moods – lively and full of depth. He processes experiences and insights into luminous compositions that can inspire and touch.
His fascination with colors has accompanied him since childhood. He was self-taught and explored a wide variety of materials, finding his own artistic language in the process. After training as a goldsmith and 7 years as a journeyman, he finally devoted himself entirely to the fine arts.
His works have been shown in over 200 exhibitions in Europe and are now represented in private collections worldwide. He shares his creative experience with others in workshops in Germany and Switzerland – where he also opens doors to the here & now. He has lived in Switzerland with his wife since 2009
