The KURIOZ has now become the number 1 restaurant in Zug. This is also confirmed by the many reviews on Tripadvisor.

In the KURIOZ – where Switzerland’s first umbrella factory was once located – the “factory flair” has been preserved to this day: large windows, high ceilings with visible ventilation pipes, stylish furniture and extravagant accessories. This is where “industrial chic” meets living room ambience, making the KURIOZ a very special place to meet.

Restaurant: In the restaurant, chef Christoph Seidel and his team conjure up heavenly creations. Themed menus change every three weeks, from “Grandma’s favorite dishes” and “Children’s birthday parties” to “Game” and “Christmas”. You can choose between a 4-, 5- or 6-course menu. If there is a special course, you should definitely not miss it. All the ingredients are temptingly prepared and of the finest quality. Don`t miss it!

Bar: The cocktails in particular call the shots in the bar. There are many different variations and here too only the finest ingredients are used. There are around 8 types of beer and an extensive wine list with top wines by the glass. Christoph Seidel also caters for small appetites with delicious small dishes and always a starter and a main course, as a kind of spoiler for the current menus in the restaurant.

However, only a few people are actually aware that the KURIOZ has been a gallery for a long time. For this reason, a stronger focus is to be placed on organized temporary exhibitions in future. Starting in January, Liane Janissen will organize exhibitions by artists from the Central Switzerland region every three months or so.
